Of Manasseh

14 The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom Gilead's wife bore (but his concubine Sirah bore Machir the father of Gilead; 15 And Machir took the sister of Huppim and Shuppim to wife; her name was Maacah); and the name of the second was Zelophad; and Zelophad had daughters.

16 And Maacah, Machir's wife, bore a son, and called his name Perez; and his brother's name was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rachem.

17 And the sons of Ulam, Bedan: these were the sons of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 And his sister Hammoleketh bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 The sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Lichi, and Aniam. 

20 The sons of Ephraim were Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eladah his son, Tahath his son. 

21 Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son, Ezer and Elad. The natives of Gath killed them because they went down to take their livestock. 

22 Their father Ephraim mourned for them many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.

 23 Then he went in to his wife, and she conceived and bore a son. She called his name Beriah, because things were bad in her house.

 24 His daughter was Serah, who built Bethhoron, the upper valley, and Uzzen-serah. 

25 His son was Rapha, and Resheph, and his son Telah, and his son Tahan, 

26 His son Ladan, his son Ammihud, his son Elishama, 

27 His son Nun, his son Joshua. 

28 Their possession and their dwelling place was Bethel and its towns, and on the east Naaran, and on the west Gezer and its towns, and Shechem and its towns, as far as Azzah and its towns; 

29 And on the side of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Dor and its towns: in these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
