The Crowns on Joshua's Head: The Branch

9 The word of the Lord came to me, saying:

10 “Receive from those who were taken captive: from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah (and go that day and enter the house of Josiah, son of Zephaniah), who came from Babylon:

11 Receive, I say, silver and gold, and make crowns, and put them on the head of Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

12 And speak to him, saying: ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Behold, the Man whose name is the Branch; from his place he shall branch out, and he shall build the temple of the Lord.

13 He shall build the temple of the Lord, and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on his throne, and shall be a priest on his throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”’”

 14 These crowns will belong to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen son of Zephaniah, as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.

15 Those far away will come and build in the temple of the Lord. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you carefully obey the Lord your God.
