The Seventh Vision: The Woman and the Ephah

5 Then the angel who was speaking with me came out and said to me, “Lift up your eyes now and see what this is that is coming out.”

6 I said, “What is it?” And he said, “It is an ephah that is coming out.” He added, “This is their likeness throughout the earth.”

7 And behold, a talent of lead was lifted up, and a woman was sitting in the middle of the ephah.

8 He said, “This is wickedness.” And he threw her into the ephah and put the weight of lead on its mouth.

9 Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, two women came out, stirring up the air with their wings, for they had wings like those of a stork; and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the sky.

10 Then I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “Where are these women carrying the ephah?”

11 And he said to me, “To build him a house in the land of Shinar, and when it is finished, it will be set there in its own place.”
