The Ruin of the Assyrian Army Is Foretold

12 Woe to the multitude of great peoples, who roar like the roaring of the seas, and to the roaring of the nations, who roar like the roaring of mighty waters!

13 The nations will roar like the roaring of many waters, but He will rebuke them, and they will flee far away; they will be driven away like chaff from the mountains before the wind, or like a ball before a whirlwind.

14 At evening there is terror, and before morning they will be gone. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the fate of those who plunder us.
