God is praised for his works and for his steadfast love

1 Praise the Lord, for he is good, for his love endures forever.

2 Praise the God of gods, for his love endures forever.

3 Praise the Lord of lords, for his love endures forever.

4 He who alone does wonders, for his love endures forever.

5 He who by understanding made the heavens, for his love endures forever.

6 He who stretched out the earth above the waters, for his love endures forever.

7 He who made the great lights, for his love endures forever.

8 The sun to rule by day, for his love endures forever.

9 The moon and the stars to govern by night, for his love endures forever.

10 Who struck Egypt in its firstborn, for his love endures forever.

11 And brought Israel out from among them; for his mercy endures forever.

12 With a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; for his mercy endures forever.

13 He divided the Red Sea into two parts; for his mercy endures forever.

14 And made Israel pass through the midst of it; for his mercy endures forever.

15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for his mercy endures forever.

16 He led his people through the wilderness; for his mercy endures forever.

17 He struck down great kings; for his mercy endures forever.

18 And slew famous kings; for his mercy endures forever.

19 Sihon king of the Amorites; for his mercy endures forever.

20 And Og king of Bashan; for his mercy endures forever. 

21 And he gave their land as an inheritance, for his mercy endures forever.

22 Even as an inheritance to Israel his servant, for his mercy endures forever.

23 Who remembered our low estate, for his mercy endures forever.

24 And redeemed us from our enemies, for his mercy endures forever.

25 Who gives food to all flesh, for his mercy endures forever.

26 Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his mercy endures forever.
