Proverbs of Solomon 12
He who loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is a brutish man.
A good man will obtain favor from the Lord, but he will condemn a man of wicked devices.
A man will not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous will not be removed.
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband, but she who deals shamefully is like rottenness in his bones.
The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsel of the wicked is deceit.
The words of the wicked are to lay a snare for blood, but the mouth of the upright will deliver them.
The wicked will be overthrown and will be no more, but the house of the righteous will stand.
According to their understanding each one will be praised, but the perverse in heart will be despised.
Better is he who is lightly esteemed and has servants than he who honors himself and lacks bread.
A righteous man regards the life of his livestock, but the compassion of the wicked is cruel.
He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows idle people lacks judgment.
The wicked desires the net of evil people, but the root of the righteous yields fruit.
The snare of the wicked is through the transgression of his lips, but the righteous will come out of trouble.
A man is satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and he will receive what his hands have done.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who listens to advice is wise.
A fool's anger is known in that day, but a prudent man covers shame.
He who speaks truth reveals righteousness, but a false witness deceives.
There are those whose words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Truthful lips will endure forever, but a lying tongue is only for a moment.
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but joy is in those who counsel peace.
No harm will come to the righteous, but the wicked are filled with mischief.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.
A prudent man conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims folly.
The hand of the diligent will rule, but deceitful men will be tributary.
Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.
A righteous man is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
A lazy man will not roast his game, but a man's precious possession is diligence.
In the path of righteousness is life, and in the way of its path there is no death.
