Psalms 95
The Psalmist invites us to praise the Lord and to celebrate Him with a loud voice
Come, let us sing to the Lord; let us sing joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his face with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are his.
The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord who made us.
For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if you hear his voice,
Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness;
When your fathers tempted me, they tested me and saw my work.
For forty years I was angry with that generation, and I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways."
Therefore I swore in my anger that they would not enter my rest.
