The Kingdom, the Priesthood, and the Conquest of the Messiah

1 The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool."

2 The Lord will send the scepter of your strength from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of your enemies."

3 Your people will come willingly in the day of your power, in holy attire; the dew of your youth will be like the womb of the morning.

4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek."

5 The Lord at your right hand will strike down kings in the day of his anger.

6 He will judge between the nations; he will fill them with the dead; he will strike down the heads of great countries.

7 He will judge among the nations; he will fill them with the dead; he will strike down the heads of great countries. 7 Along the way he will drink his fill of the brook, and will go on with his head held high.
