Deuteronomy 28

The blessings that will be cast from Mount Gerizim

1 And if ye will hear the voice of the LORD thy God, being careful to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, the LORD thy God shall exalt thee above all the nations of the earth.

2 And all these blessings shall come upon thee, and come unto thee, when thou hearest the voice of the LORD thy God:

3 Blessed art thou in the city, and blessed art thou in the field.

4 Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, and the fruit of thy beasts, and the breeding of thy cows, and the flocks of thy sheep.

5 Blessed is your basket and your kneader;

6 Blessed are you when you come in, and blessed are you when you go out.

7 The Lord will deliver up your enemies who rise up against you who are wounded before you: they will go out one way against you, but will flee before you seven ways.

8 The Lord will command the blessing to be with you in your storehouses, and in all that you put your hand on: and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.

9 The LORD will establish you for himself as a holy people, as he has sworn to you, when you keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways.

10 And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD, and shall fear thee.

11 And the Lord will cause you to abound in the fruit of your womb, and in the fruit of your beasts, and in the fruit of your land, upon the land which the Lord has sworn to your fathers to give you.

12 The Lord will open his good treasure, heaven, to give rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hands; and thou shalt lend to many people, but thou shalt not borrow.

13 And the Lord shall set thee for a head, and not for a tail, and thou shalt be above, not below, when thou obeyest the commandments of the LORD thy God which I command thee this day, to keep and do.

14 And you shall not depart from all the words which I command you this day, either to the right hand or to the left, to walk after other gods, to serve them.
