People who are excluded from holy assemblies
1 The broken and the castrated shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
2 No bastard shall enter into the congregation of the Lord: neither shall his tenth generation enter into the congregation of the Lord.
3 Neither Ammonite nor Moabite shall enter into the congregation of the Lord; Nor shall their tenth generation enter into the congregation of the Lord for ever.
4 Because they did not go out with bread and water to receive you on the way when you came out of Egypt. and because they have hired against you Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia to curse you.
5 But the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam: but the Lord your God changed the curse into blessing; because the Lord your God loved you.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace and good in all thy days for ever.
7 Thou shalt not abhor Edumum, for he is thy brother; neither shall you abhor the Egyptian; For you were a stranger in their own land.
8 The children born to them in the third generation shall each enter into the congregation of the Lord.
9 When the army goes out against your enemies, then you will guard against all evil things.
10 When there is among you that is not clean by night, he will go out of the army. will not enter the midst of the army.
11 But it shall be, that when evening is declining, it shall be washed with water; And when the sun goes down, he will enter into the midst of the camp.
12 And thou shalt have a place outside the camp; and there you will go out.
13 And among your weapons shall you have a shovel; and when you sit outside, then you will dig with it, and turning you will cover what comes out of you.
14 For the LORD your God is in the midst of the camp, to deliver you, and to deliver your enemies before you: therefore your camp shall be holy, that he may not see an ugly thing in you, and turn behind you.
