 Song of Solomon 4

1 Behold, you are beautiful, my love, behold, you are beautiful! Your eyes are like doves within your braids; your hair is like a flock of goats that graze on Mount Gilead.

2 Your teeth are like a flock of shorn sheep, coming up from the washing, all of which bear twins, and not one is barren among them.

3 Your lips are like a thread of scarlet, and your speech is sweet; your forehead is like a piece of pomegranate within your braids.

4 Your neck is like the tower of David, built to hang weapons; a thousand shields hang from it, all bucklers of valor.

5 Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle, that feed among the lilies. 

6 Before the day breaks and the shadows fall, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense.

7 You are all beautiful, my love, and there is no blemish in you.

8 Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, come with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

9 You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one of your eyes, with a necklace from your neck.

10 How beautiful is your love, my sister! O my bride! How much better is your love than wine! And the aroma of your perfumes than all spices!

11 Honey drops from your lips, my bride! Honey and milk are under your tongue, and the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon. 

12 You are a garden enclosed, my sister, my bride, a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

13 Your branches are an orchard of pomegranates, with choice fruits: cypress and spikenard,

14 Spikenard and saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with all kinds of frankincense trees, myrrh and aloes, with all the finest spices.

15 You are the fountain of gardens, a well of living water flowing from Lebanon!

16 Arise, O north wind, and come, O south wind! Blow on my garden, that its aromas may be spread! Oh, that my beloved would come into his garden and eat its choice fruits!
