The Wedding Procession The Bridegroom Expresses His Love for His Bride
6 Who is this coming up from the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh, frankincense, and all kinds of sweet powders?
7 This is Solomon's litter; sixty mighty men are around it, some of the mighty men of Israel.
8 All of them armed with swords, skilled in war; each with his sword at his side, because of the terrors of the night.
9 King Solomon made himself a palanquin of Lebanon wood.
10 He made its pillars of silver, its outer covering of gold, its seat of purple, and its interior overlaid with love, by the daughters of Jerusalem.
11Go forth, O daughters of Zion, and behold King Solomon wearing the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his espousal, on the day his heart rejoiced.
