Numbers 31 The voluntary offer of captains

Numbers 31
The voluntary offer of captains
48 And the captains over the thousands of the host, and the captains, and the captains of hundreds, came to Moses.
49 And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war that were under our hand; and no lack of us.
50 Wherefore we have brought an offering unto the Lord, every man that he hath found, vessels of gold, chains, or twines, rings, hooks, and necklaces, to make our souls profitable before the Lord.
51 So Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from them; all vessels being well worked.
52 And all the gold of the heave offering, which they offered unto the Lord, sixteen thousand and seven hundred and fifty shekels, and of the captains, and of the captains of hundreds.
53 (For the men of war each took a prey for themselves.)
54 And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of the captains of hundreds, and brought it to the tabernacle of the congregation for a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD.
