Numbers 23 The Prophecies of Balaam

Numbers 23
The Prophecies of Balaam
And he lifted up his parable, and said, Balak rose up, and hearken, incline thine ear unto me, the son of Zippor.
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent: Would he say, and not do it? or speak, and not confirm?
Behold, I have received an order to bless; for he hath blessed, and I can not revoke him.
He saw no iniquity in Israel, nor beheld wickedness in Jacob: the Lord his God is with him, and in him, and among them is heard the noise of a king.
God brought them out of Egypt; his strength is like that of the unicorn.
For Jacob is not worthy of enchantment or divination against Israel. At this time it will be said of Jacob and Israel, What things God has done!
Behold, the people shall rise up like a lion, and shall be exalted like a lion: he shall not lie down till he eat the prey, and drink the blood of the dead.
And Balak said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not utterly curse him, nor utterly bless him.
And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not speak to thee, saying, Whatsoever the LORD shall speak, I will do it?
Balak said to Balaam, "Come, and I will take you to another place. Will it seem good in the eyes of God to curse you from thence?
And Balak took Balaam with him to the top of Peor, which looks toward the desert.
And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven calves and seven rams.
And Balak did as Balaam had said; and offered a calf and a ram on every altar.
