God announces the death of Moses
12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go up to this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
13 And having seen, then shall he be gathered unto thy people, even as thy brother Aaron was gathered:
14 Because ye rebelled in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, by my commandment to sanctify myself in the waters before their eyes: (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
15 And Moses spake unto the LORD, saying,
16 The LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, put a man over this congregation.
17 Let them go out before them, and let them go in before them, and he that bringeth them forth, and him that bringeth in: lest the congregation of the Lord be as sheep that have no shepherd.
