The death of Miriam
1 And the children of Israel came, all the congregation, into the wilderness of Zin, in the first month, the people were in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and there she was buried.
2 And there was no water for the congregation: then they were gathered together against Moses and against Aaron.
3 And the people contended with Moses, and spake, saying, Would that we had expired when our brethren expired before the Lord!
4 And why did you bring the congregation of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our cattle might die there?
5 And why did you bring us up from Egypt to bring us into this evil place? Place not of seeds, nor of figs, nor of vines, nor of pomegranates, nor of water to drink.
6 And Moses and Aaron went from before the congregation to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and fell on their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.
