The perpetual holocaust
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Command the children of Israel, and say to them, Of my offering, of my meat for my burnt offerings, of my sweet savor, you shall be careful, but to offer at his appointed time.
3 And thou shalt say unto them, This is the burnt offering which ye offer unto the LORD: two lambs a year old, without blemish every day for a continual burnt offering.
4 One lamb thou shalt sacrifice in the morning, and the other lamb thou shalt sacrifice in the evening:
5 And the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a fourth part of a hin of ground oil.
6 This is the continual burnt offering, set on Mount Sinai, for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
7 And his drink offering shall be the fourth part of a hin for a lamb: in the sanctuary thou shalt offer a drink offering of strong drink unto the LORD.
8 And the other lamb thou shalt sacrifice in the evening: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt bring it for a burnt offering of a sweet savor unto the LORD.
