The division of the dam
25 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
26 Take the sum of the prey of the prisoners, of men, and of beasts, thou and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the houses of the fathers of the congregation;
27 And he divideth the prey into two halves, between them that were skilled in the warfare, they went out to war, and all the congregation.
28 And unto Jehovah thou shalt take the tribute of the men of war that went forth to this war, every soul a hundred of men, and of oxen, and of asses, and of sheep.
29 From his half you shall take it, and give it to Eleazar the priest, for the heave-offering of Jehovah.
30 But of the half of the children of Israel thou shalt take of every man fifty of the men, and of the oxen, and of the ass, and of the sheep, and of all the beasts; and give them unto the Levites that watch over the tabernacle of the LORD.
31 And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses.
32 And the prey, and the remnant of the spoil, which the men of war took, six hundred and seventy and five thousand sheep;
33 And seventy thousand oxen;
34 And threescore thousand asses;
35 And of the women that knew no man lying with him, all the souls were thirty and two thousand.
36 And the half, the portion of those who went out to war, was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep.
37 And the tribute to the Lord was six hundred and seventy-five.
38 And the oxen were thirty and six thousand: and their tribute to the Lord seventy and two.
39 And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred: and their tribute to the Lord was sixty and one.
40 And there were souls of men sixteen thousand: and their tribute unto the Lord thirty and two souls.
41 And Moses gave Eleazar the priest the tribute of the lord's offering as the LORD commanded Moses.
42 And of the half of the children of Israel, which Moses had separated from the men that fought,
43 And the half of the congregation was of the sheep three hundred and thirty and seven thousand and five hundred.
44 And of the oxen thirty and six thousand;
45 And of the asses thirty thousand and five hundred;
46 And of human souls sixteen thousand).
47 Of the half of the children of Israel Moses took one of fifty men and of the beasts, and gave them to the Levites, who kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
