14 Then he Joseph into Egypt, he and his brothers and all who went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.
15 Seeing then Joseph's brothers that their father was dead, they said: Shall we abhor Joseph, and certainly will pay us all the evil which we did to him.
16 Therefore sent to Joseph saying, Thy father commanded before his death saying:
17 Thus shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee, the transgression of thy brethren, and their sin, because they hurt; Now therefore we pray thee, forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
18 Afterward came also his brothers, and fell down before him, and said, Behold, we are your servants.
19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not, for am I in the place of God?
20 Ye evil against me, but God meant it unto good, to do as it is this day, to save alive a great people.
21 Now therefore fear not; I will nourish you and your little ones. Thus comforted, and spoke according to their hearts.
