Exodus 18 Moses' father brings him his wife and children

Exodus 18
Moses' father brings him his wife and children
Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and Israel his people, how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.
And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, the wife of Moses, after he had sent her back,
With his two sons, of whom one was called Gershom; because I said, I was a stranger in a strange land;
The other was named Eliezer, for he said, the God of my father was my help, and delivered me from Pharaoh's sword.
Come as Jethro, Moses' father in law, with his sons and his wife to Moses in the desert, the mountain of God, where he was encamped,
And he said unto Moses, I thy father in law Jethro am come unto thee, and thy wife, and her two sons with her.
Moses went out to meet his father in law, and bowed and kissed him, and asked each other how they were, and into the tent.
And Moses told his father in law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the work that went on the way, and how the Lord delivered them.
And Jethro rejoiced for all the good that the Lord had done for Israel, freeing it from the Egyptians.
And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD who delivered you from the Egyptians and the hand of Pharaoh; who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods; for in the thing in which they were haughty, the overwhelmed.
Then took Jethro, the father in law of Moses, burnt offering and sacrifices to God; and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with the father in law before God.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people; and the people stood before Moses from morning until the afternoon.
Seeing as Moses' father in law all that he did to the people, he said, What is this that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand before you from tomorrow until the afternoon?
And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God:
When they have a business come to me, that I judge between one and another, and declare them the statutes of God and his laws.
Moses' father in law but said, It is not what you do.
wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; you just not able to perform.
Listen now to my voice, I will give you counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people before God, and you take things to God;
And declare them the statutes and the laws, and make them the way they must walk and the work they must do.
And you among all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
And let them judge the people at all times, and is that all matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: So they will charge will alleviate you, and they will lead you.
If this do, and God so commands, you'll subsist are: so all these people in peace come to his place.
And Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said;
And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
And they judged the people at all times; the hard causes they brought to Moses, and every small matter they judged themselves.
Then Moses sent his father, and he went to his land.
