The song of Moses
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing to the Lord, because highly exalted himself: thrown into the sea horse and its rider.
The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will make you a house; he is the God of my father, I will exalt him.
The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.
cast into the sea Pharaoh's chariots and his army, and his chosen captains are drowned in the Red Sea.
The depths have covered them: they went down into the depths like a stone.
Your right hand, O Lord, is glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD has torn the enemy;
And in the greatness of thine excellency overthrown them that rose up against thee; hast sent thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters piled up, the floods stood as a heap: the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.
The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil: will be satiate my soul from them, I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
O Lord, who is like you among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
held out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
Thou in thy mercy, didst thou to this people, who saved: with thy strength barest will thy holy habitation.
The people shall hear, they tremble: will seize-a pain of the inhabitants of Palestine.
Then the dukes of Edom shall be astonished, powerful of the Moabites will be seize a tremor, melt will be all the inhabitants of Canaan.
Fear and dread will fall on them: for the greatness of thine arm emudecerão as stone; until your people have passed, O Lord, until you pass this people have purchased.
Thou shalt bring them and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place that you, O LORD, for thy dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.
The Lord shall reign for ever and ever;
For Pharaoh's horses with his chariots and with his knights into the sea, and the Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the middle of the sea.
