Exodus 10
The plague of darkness
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, and darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which apalpem.
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.
he saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
Then Pharaoh called Moses, and said, Go, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds: also go with your children.
Moses but said: Thou also shalt thou give into our hands sacrifices and burnt offerings to offer to the Lord our God.
And also our livestock will go with us, not a hoof be left behind; because of that we shall take, to serve the Lord our God: for we know not with what we must serve the Lord until we get there.
The Lord but hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let go.
And I said to him Pharaoh: Get thee from me, and keep you that no longer see my face: for in the day that you see my face you shall die.
And Moses said, Well said; I never see your face.
