Exodus 09 The plague of the hail

Exodus 09
The plague of the hail
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, and there will be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and on every herb of the field in the land of Egypt.
And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
And there was hail and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as never was in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.
Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, This time I have sinned; the Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
Pray to the Lord (for it is enough) that there be no more thunder and hail; and I will let you go, and stay no longer.
Then said Moses, in leaving the city spread out my hands to the Lord; the thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail; that thou mayest know that the earth is the Lord.
But as for thee and thy servants, I know not yet fear the Lord God.
And the flax and the barley were hurt, because the barley was in the ear, and the flax in cane,
But the wheat and rye were not hurt, because they were covered.
Out for Moses Pharaoh, the city, and extended his hand to the Lord: and they left the thunder and hail, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.
And when Pharaoh saw that the rain ceased, and the hail and the thunder continued to sin, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
So Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not let the children of Israel, as the Lord had spoken by Moses.
