Exodus 10
The plague of locusts
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt so that the locusts may come upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, all that the hail left.
And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought upon the earth an east wind all that day and all that night; and it happened that in the morning the east wind brought locusts.
And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested If on all the coasts of Egypt; They were very grievous; before that there were no such locusts, neither after them shall be such.
For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and eat every herb of the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail left; and was not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
And Pharaoh hurried to call Moses and Aaron, and said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
Now therefore, I ask you to forgive my sin only this once, and entreat the Lord your God to take away from me this death only.
And he went out from Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord.
And the Lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which lifted the locusts and cast them into the Red sea; not even a grasshopper was in all the coasts of Egypt.
The Lord but hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not let the children of Israel.
