Exodus 16 God sends meat

Exodus 16
God sends meat
And the Lord spoke to Moses saying:
I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel; speak to them saying, Between the two evenings ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God.
And it happened that will quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the camp.
And the fallen dew was taken up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness a small round thing, small as the frost on the ground.
And seeing the children of Israel said to one another: What is this? they did not know what it was. for them Moses said, This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.
This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your souls; each will take for those who are in his tent.
And the children of Israel did so; and they gathered, some more, some less.
However, measuring it with the omer, not the residue of that gathered much or lacked that gathered little: gathered every man according to his eating.
And Moses said, Let no man leave it for tomorrow.
They however did not listen to Moses, but some of them left of it until the next day; and those bred worms, and stank; so was angry with Moses against them.
They gathered it every morning, each according to his eating; because heating the sun, she melted.
And it happened that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two gômeres for each; and all the princes of the congregation came and told Moses.
And he said unto them, This is what the Lord has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath of the Lord: what you will bake, Boil it, and what you will bake in water, Boil it in water ; and all that remains over PNDE on guard for you until tomorrow.
And they laid it up tomorrow, as Moses commanded: and it did not stink, nor shall hear any worm.
And Moses said: Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord: today ye shall not find in the field.
Six days you shall gather it, but the seventh day is the sabbath; it will not be.
And it happened on the seventh day, that some of the people went out to gather, and they found none.
And the Lord said to Moses: How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
See, for that Jehovah hath given you the sabbath, therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days; each stay in your place, that no one go out of his place on the seventh day.
So the people rested on the seventh day.
And he called the house of Israel his name manna; and it was like white coriander seed, and its taste like honey cakes.
And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded: Fill an omer him and keep him for your generations, that they may see the bread that I have given you to eat in the wilderness when I brought you out of Egypt.
And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put him a full omer manna, and lay it up before the Lord, on guard for your generations.
As the Lord had commanded Moses, so Aaron placed it before the testimony in custody.
And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited: they ate manna until they came to the terms of the land of Canaan.
And an omer is a tenth of the ephah.
