Exodus 13
The firstborn are sanctified God
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among all the children of Israel, men and animals; it is mine.
And Moses said to the people: Remember this day, in which you came out of Egypt, the house of bondage; for with a strong hand the Lord brought you out here: therefore ye shall not eat leavened bread.
Today, in the month of Abib, you salts.
And it shall be when the Lord takes you stuck in the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and haveus, and the Jebusites, which he swore to your fathers to ta give, a land flowing with milk and honey, keep him this service this month.
Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; and the seventh day is a feast to the Lord.
Seven days shall eat unleavened bread, and no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen in all thy borders.
And that day thou shalt know thy son, saying, This is for what the Lord has done to me when I came out of Egypt.
And it shall be for a sign on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand your Lord brought you out of Egypt.
So you keep this ordinance in its season from year and year.
And it shall be when the Lord takes you stuck in the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, when ta there given,
depart to the Lord all that opens the womb, and all that open the womb of the fruit of the animals that you have made; the males shall be the Lord.
But all that open the womb of the ass redeem with lamb; and if not redeem, cut-him ace his head but all the firstborn of man among your sons redeem.
If you happen to your son in the future time ask you, saying, What is this? say unto it: The Lord brought us forth with a mighty hand of Egypt, the house of bondage.
For it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of man to the firstborn of cattle: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD the males of all open the womb; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
And it shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes; because the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
