Genesis 42 Joseph's brothers come down to Egypt

Genesis 42
Joseph's brothers come down to Egypt
Then Jacob Seeing that there was grain in Egypt, Jacob said to his sons: Why are you looking at each other?
And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is grain in Egypt; I go down there, and buy grain, that we may live and not die.
went down the ten brothers of Joseph to buy grain from Egypt.
Benjamin, however, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren, saying: For you succeed it not a disaster.
Thus came the children of Israel to buy among those who came there; famine was in the land of Canaan.
Joseph, therefore, was the governor of the land; he sold to all the people of the land; and Joseph's brothers came and bowed themselves before him with face on earth.
And Joseph saw his brothers, met them; but proved to be strange to them, and spoke to them harshly, and said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.
And Joseph has known his brothers; but they did not know.
And Joseph remembered the dreams that he had dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies, and come to see the nakedness of the land.
And they said to him, No, my lord; but your servants have come to buy food.
We are all sons of one man; we are true men; thy servants are not spies.
And he said to them, No; I have come to see the nakedness of the land.
And they said, Thy servants are twelve brothers, sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and behold, the youngest is with our father today; but one is not.
Then Joseph said to them That's what I said to you, saying that you are spies;
Hereby ye shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh shall not go forth hence, except your youngest brother come here.
Send one of you who bring your brother, and ye shall be imprisoned, and your words may be proved, whether there is truth in you; and if not, by Pharaoh's life, you are spies.
And put them together into custody three days.
And the third day Joseph said to them, Do this, and live; for I fear God.
If ye be true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison; go ye, carry corn for the famine of your home.
And bring me your youngest brother, and your words will be verified, and not die. And they did so.
And they said to each other: In fact, we are guilty concerning our brother, because we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us; we however do not hear; so come upon us this distress.
And Reuben answered him saying, Do unto you I say, 'Do not sin against the boy? But you did not listen; therefore, behold, his blood is required.
And they knew not that Joseph understood, for there was an interpreter between them.
And he withdrew from them and wept. Then he returned to them and spoke to them, and took from them Simeon, and bound him before their eyes.
