Exodus 06
God promises to deliver the Israelites
God spoke to Moses, and said, I am the Lord.
And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Jehovah was not known to them.
And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians enslave, and I remembered my covenant.
Therefore say to the children of Israel: I am the Lord, and will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, will deliver you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
And I will take you for my people, and I will be your God; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;
And I will take you to the land, Aceca which raised my hand to give it to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and will give it you for an inheritance, I the Lord.
So Moses told the children of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses because of the spirit and eagerness for cruel bondage.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
Go and speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, who let out the children of Israel from their land.
Moses but said before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel I have not heard; as for Pharaoh you hear me? Also I am of uncircumcised lips.
Yet the Senho spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them unto the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt.
