Absalom flees to Talmai and after three years returns to Jerusalem

37 So Absalom fled, and went to Talmai the son of Amiur king of Geshur. And David felt sorry for his son all those days.

38 So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur: he was there three years.

39 Then king David longed for Absalom: for he was already comforted about Amnon, who was dead.
