Leviticus 14
The law on leprosy in a house
And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
And when you come into the land of Canaan, which I will give you for a possession, and I will send the plague of leprosy to some house in the land of your possession,
Then shall he come, whomsoever the house is, and tell the priest, saying, It seems to me that there is a plague in my house.
And the priest shall command them to pour out the house, before the priest come to examine the plague, that all that is in the house be not defiled: and afterward the priest shall come to search the house:
And seeing the plague, and lo, the plague on the walls of the house has dimples green or red, and they appear deeper than the wall.
And the priest shall go out of the house out of the gate of the house, and he shall shut the house seven days.
And he shall return the priest on the seventh day, and shall search; And if he sees that the plague on the walls of the house has spread,
And the priest shall command them to pluck up the stones, where the plague is, and to cast them out of the city into a filthy place:
And he shall scrape the house round about, and the dust that they have scraped shall cast out of the city into a filthy place.
And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of the first stones; And another clay shall be taken, and the house shall be towed.
But if the plague shall return, and spring forth in the house after the stones have been set, and after the house be scraped, and after being plastered,
And the priest shall come in, and, beholding, behold, if the plague in the house is spread, there is in the house gleaning leprousness: it is unclean.
Therefore shall the house be broken down, and the stones thereof, and the wood thereof, and all the clay of the house; And will take everything out of the city to a filthy place.
And whosoever entereth into that house in any day that is shut up shall be unclean until the even.
And he that lie down to sleep in such a house shall wash his clothes: and he that eateth in such a house shall wash his clothes.
And when the priest goeth in, and searcheth, behold, if the plague in the house is not stretched out, after the house hath been plastered, the priest shall declare the house clean, for the plague is healed.
And he shall take two birds for the house, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet and the hyssop:
And he shall slay a bird in an earthen vessel upon living waters:
And he shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and live bird, and dip them in the hungry bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:
And the house shall purge with the blood of the bird, and with the living water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar tree, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet.
And he shall let the living bird out of the city on the face of the field; and he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
This is the law of all the plague of leprosy, and of the had,
And of the leprosy of the garments, and of the houses,
And of the swelling, and of the apostle, and of the blisters;
To teach on what day it shall be unclean, and on what day it shall be clean. This is the law of leprosy.
