Leviticus 08 The consecration of Aaron and his sons

Leviticus 08
The consecration of Aaron and his sons
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the oil of the anointing, and the bullock of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread,
And the whole congregation assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the congregation assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And Moses said to the congregation, This is what the Lord commanded to be done.
And Moses brought unto Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water,
And he put on his robe, and girded him with a girdle, and put the robe on him; And he put the ephod on it, and girded it with the girdle of the ephod, and pressed it with him.
And he put his breastplate on it, and put on the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim;
And he put the miter upon his head, and put on the miter before his face the golden blade, the crown of holiness, as the Lord commanded Moses.
And Moses took the oil of the anointing, and anointed the tabernacle, and all that was in it, and sanctified it;
And he sprinkled it upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and the base thereof, to sanctify them.
And he poured the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him to sanctify him.
And Moses brought the sons of Aaron unto them, and put on their coats, and girded them with a girdle, and clothed them with the tiaras, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And he brought the bull of the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering;
And he beheaded him; And Moses took the blood, and put it with his finger upon the horns of the altar round about, and he expiated the altar: and he poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for him.
And he took all the fat that is in the inwards, and the fat of the liver, and the fat of the two kidneys, and their fat: and Moses burnt it upon the altar.
But the bullock with his hide, and his flesh, and his dung, burned with fire without the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And he brought the ram of the burnt offering; And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram:
And he slew him; And Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.
And the ram also departed in his pieces; And Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
But the inwards and the legs washed with water; And Moses burned all the ram on the altar: a burnt offering of a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And he brought the other ram, the ram of the consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the ram's head,
And he beheaded him; And Moses took his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the thumb of his right foot.
And he brought the sons of Aaron; And Moses put that blood on the tip of his right ear and on the thumb of his right hand, and his right foot on his thumb: and Moses sprinkled the rest of the blood upon the altar round about.
And he took the fat, and the tail, and all the fat that is in the inwards, and the redness of the liver, and both the kidneys, and the fat, and the right shoulder.
And the basket of the unleavened bread, which was before the LORD, took an unleavened cake, and a cake of olive oil, and a cake, and put them on the fat, and on the right shoulder.
And all this he put into the hand of Aaron and into the hands of his sons, and moved them for a wave offering before the LORD.
And Moses took them out of their hand, and burned them upon the altar upon the burnt offering; These were a consecration for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
And Moses took the breast, and moved it for a wave offering before the LORD: that was the portion of Moses from the ram of the consecration, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood that was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him; And hallowed Aaron and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto his sons, Bake the flesh before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and there eat with the bread which is in the basket of the consecration, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat thereof.
But what is left of the flesh and of the bread, ye shall burn with fire.
And thou shalt not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation seven days, until the day that the consecration of the day is fulfilled: for he shall consecrate them seven days.
As it was done on that day, so says the Lord, if he did, to make atonement for you.
And I will stand at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night for seven days, and you shall keep the charge of the LORD, that you die not: for so it was commanded me.
And Aaron and his sons did all that the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
