Aaron offers sacrifices for himself and the people
And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron, and his sons, and the elders of Israel.
And he said unto Aaron, Take a bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering without blemish: and bring them before the LORD.
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Take a kid of the goats for a sin offering, and a calf, and a lamb of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering.
And an ox and a ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD, and a meat offering, mixed with oil: for this day the LORD shall appear unto you.
And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the congregation came, and stood before the LORD.
And Moses said, This thing which Jehovah hath commanded ye do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.
And Moses said unto Aaron, Come near to the altar, and make thy atonement for sin, and thy burnt offering; And make atonement for thee and for the people; and afterward make the people's offering, and make atonement for them, as the LORD hath commanded.
Then Aaron came to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the atonement that was for him.
And the sons of Aaron brought the blood, and dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar. And the rest of the blood poured out at the foot of the altar.
But the fat, and the kidneys, and the remnant of the sin-offering of the liver, burned upon the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.
But the flesh and the skin burned with fire outside the camp.
And he slew the burnt offering, and the sons of Aaron delivered unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.
And they gave him the burnt offering in his pieces, with his head; And burned it upon the altar.
And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.
And he brought the offering of the people, and took the goat of the sin offering, which was for the people, and slew it, and prepared it for the sin offering, as the first.
And he brought the burnt offering, and prepared it according to the rite.
And he brought the meat offering, and his hand filled it, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the morning burnt offering.
And he slaughtered the ox and the ram in a sacrifice of peace, which was of the people. And the sons of Aaron delivered unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
As also the fat of the ox and of the ram, the tail, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the fat of the liver.
And they put the fat on the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar;
But Aaron's breast and shoulder, Aaron's right moved for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.
And Aaron lifted up his hands to the people, and blessed them, and went down, and made the atonement for sin, and the burnt offering, and the peace offering.
And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation: and they went forth, and blessed the people; And the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people,
For the fire went out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they jumped and fell on their faces.
