 The Book of the Prophet Ezekiel 47

The Borders of the Land of Israel

13 Thus says the Lord God: This shall be the boundary according to which you shall take the land as an inheritance, according to the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph shall have two portions.

14 And you shall inherit both one and the other; for I have lifted up my hand over it to give it to your fathers; thus this land shall fall to you as an inheritance.

15 And this shall be the boundary of the land on the north side: from the Great Sea, by way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad;

16 Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which are between the border of Damascus and between the border of Hamath; Hazer-hatticon, which is by the border of Hauran.

17 And the boundary from the sea shall be Hazer-enon, on the border of Damascus, and on the north side is the border of Hamath; And this shall be the northern border,

18 And the eastern border, between Hauran, and Damascus, and Gilead, and the land of Israel, shall be the Jordan; from the northern border to the eastern sea you shall measure: this shall be the eastern border.

19 And the southern border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribah Kadesh, by the brook, to the Great Sea: this shall be the southern border.

20 And the western border shall be the Great Sea, from the southern border to the entrance of Hamath: this shall be the western border.

21 You shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.

22 But you shall allot it by lot for your inheritance, and for the strangers who sojourn among you, who beget children among you; and they shall be to you as native-born among the children of Israel; they shall inherit with you among the tribes of Israel.

23 And it shall be that in the tribe where the stranger sojourns, there you shall give him his inheritance, says the Lord God.
