Numbers 11
The murmurings of the Israelites
And it came to pass, when the people complained, that it was evil in the ears of the Lord; for the LORD heard him, and his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed them that were in the last part of the camp.
And the people cried unto Moses, and Moses prayed unto the LORD, and the fire was quenched.
And the name of the place Tabera, because the fire of Jehovah was kindled among them.
And the multitude that was in the midst of them, had a great desire: and the children of Israel wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
We remember the fish we ate in Egypt for free; and cucumbers, and melons, and pores, and onions, and garlic.
But now our soul is dried up; There is nothing there but this manna before our eyes.
And the manna was as a seed of coriander, and its color was like the color of bdhelium.
And the people were scattered, and he gathered them, and he put them in mills, or gral him with grains: and he baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste thereof was as the taste of fresh oil.
And when the dew came down by night upon the camp, the manna came down upon him.
And Moses heard the people mourn for their families, every one at the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was greatly kindled, and it was evil in the sight of Moses.
