Moses begs Hobab to go with them
29 And Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moses: We went to that place, of which the LORD said, "I will give it to you; go with us and we will do you good; because the Lord spoke well of Israel.
30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will go to my land and to my kindred.
31 And he said, Let us not leave us: for thou knowest that we have stayed in the wilderness, thou shalt serve us with eyes.
32 And it shall come to pass, when thou comest with us, and the good thing that the LORD shall do unto us, we will also do thee good.
33 So three days 'journey from the mountain of the Lord came a three-day journey, and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went three days' journey before them to seek a place of rest for them.
34 And the cloud of the Lord was upon them by day, when they departed from the camp.
35 And it came to pass, as the ark departed, that Moses said, Rise up, O Lord, and thine enemies be destroyed, and the haters flee before thee.
36 And when she had rested, she said, Return, O LORD, to the many thousands of Israel.
