Genesis 39 Joseph in Potiphar's house

Genesis 39
Joseph in Potiphar's house
And Joseph was brought into Egypt, and Potiphar, a eunuch of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken there.
And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.
Seeing as your Lord that the Lord was with him and that everything he was doing the Lord prosper in his hand,
Joseph found favor in his eyes, and he served him; and he set him over his house and into his hand all he had.
And it came to pass, since the had put on his house, and about all he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for the sake of Joseph; and the Lord's blessing was upon all that he had, in house and field.
And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand, so that he knew nothing of what was to him, except the bread which he ate. And Joseph was goodly and beautiful in sight.
It happened after these things that the wife of his master put his eyes on Joseph, and said: Lie with me.
But he refused, and you said his master's wife, Behold, my master does not know what is in the house with me, and to my hand all you have;
's bigger than me No one in this house, and no such thing has forbidden me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph every day, not giving her ears to lie down with her and be with her,
It happened on a certain day he came to the house to do his business; and none of the house was there;
And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me. And he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.
And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and fled forth,
He called the men of her house, and spoke to them, saying, See, brought us a Hebrew man to mock us: came to me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice,
And it came to pass, when he heard that I raised my voice and screamed, he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.
And she laid his garment by her, until his master came home.
Then he spoke to them according to these words, saying came to me the Hebrew servant, he brought him to mock me;
And it came to pass, as I lifted my voice and cried, he left his garment with me, and fled out.
And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, who spoke to him, saying: As this manner did thy servant to me, his anger was kindled.
And the Lord Joseph took it and handed in the prison, the place where the king's prisoners were bound; It was there in the prison.
But the LORD was with Joseph, and extended over him mercy, and gave him favor in the jailer chief's eyes.
The jailer-committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners who were there in the prison, and he did everything that was done there.
The jailer chief looked not to any thing that was in his hand; because the LORD was with him, and all he was doing the Lord prospered.
