Gênesis 30
1 Sell for Rachel, who did not give children to Jacob had Rachel envied her sister, and said Jaco :; Give me children, or else I die.
2 Then was kindled the anger of Jacob against Rachel, and said, Am I in God's place, who has withheld from you the fruit of thy womb?
3 And she said, Behold my servant Bilhah: enter it, to have children on my knees, and I receive so her children.
4 And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in to her.
5 And Bilha conceived, and bare Jacob a son.
6 And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and also heard my voice, and given me a son; so he called the name of Dan.
7 And Bilhah Rachel's maid conceived again and gave Jacob a second son.
8 And Rachel said, With struggles of God I have wrestled with my sister, also won; and he called his name Naphtali.
9 Seeing as Leah that ceased to generate, also took Zilpah her handmaid, and gave her to Jacob as a wife.
10 And he gave Zilpah, handmaid of Leah, Jacob a son.
11 Leah said, comes a multitude: and he called his name Gad.
12 Then she gave Zilpah, handmaid of Leah, a second son to Jacob.
13 Then Leah said, For my happiness; for the daughters will me blessed; and he called his name Asher.
14 And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest and found mandrakes in the field. And it brought up them to his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah: Now give me the mandrakes of your son.
15 And she said unto him, Is it a little shalt taken my husband also shalt take the madrágoras my son? Rachel said: So you lie down with you tonight mandrakes of your son.
16 Coming as Jacob in the afternoon of the field, he came out to meet Leah, and said to me go in, because surely hired you with the mandrakes of my son. And he lay with her that night.
17 And God listened to Leah, and conceived and bore a fifth son.
18 Leah said, God has given me my reward, because I have given my maidservant to my husband. And she called his name Issachar.
19 And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son.
20 And Leah said, God has given me with a good gift; this time will my husband dwell with me, because I have borne him six sons. And she called his name Zebulun.
21 And after she had a daughter, and called her name Dinah.
22 And remembered Rachel God, and God heard her, and opened her womb,
23 And she conceived and bore a son, and said, He took me God my shame.
24 And he called his name Joseph, saying, Jehovah add to me another son.
25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, Let me go, I go me to my place, and will my land.
26 Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served, and go I will, for thou knowest my service which I have done.
