Jacob arrives at Shechem and raises an altar
18 And Jacob came saved to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padan Haran; and made his seat before the city.
19 And he bought a part of the field where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the sons of Hamor, Shechem's father, for one hundred pieces of money.
20 And he erected an altar and called it God, the God of Israel.
