The birth of Jacob's twelve sons and a daughter
32 And Leah conceived, and bore a son, and called his name Reuben, saying, Because the Lord has seen my affliction, so now I love my husband.
33 And she conceived again, and bore a son, saying: Because the Lord heard that I was upset, also gave me this; and he called his name Simeon.
34 And she conceived again, and bore a son and said, Now this time my husband will gather with me, because three children have given him; so he called his name Levi.
35 And she conceived again, and bore a son, saying: I will praise the Lord. So she called his name Judah and ceased to have children.
