Abimelech makes a covenant with Isaac
26 And Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ausate his friend, and Phicol the captain of his army.
27 And Isaac said unto them, Why have you come to me, since you hate me and sent me to you?
28 And they said, We saw, in fact, that the Lord is with you, and we said: Let there be now an oath between us and you; and do concert with you,
29 Let us not do evil, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done you good, and have sent you away in peace. Thou art now the blessed of the Lord.
30 And he made them a feast, and they ate and drank;
31 And they rose up early, and swore to one another; then fired Isaac, and they departed from him in peace.
32 And it happened that same day came Isaac's servants, and told him about the business well, they had dug; and they said to him: We have found water.
33 And he called it Seba: why is the name of the city Beersheba to this day.
34 Now Esau being the forty years old, he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basmate daughter of Elon the Hittite.
35 And they went to Isaac and Rebekah a bitterness of spirit.
