The death of Deborah
8 And died Deborah, Rebekah's nurse, and was buried at the foot of Bethel, under the oak whose name called Allon-Bacute.
9 And God appeared unto Jacob again, coming from Padan Haran, and blessed him.
10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob; no more be called thy name Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name. And she called his name Israel.
11 And God said to him: I am the Almighty God, be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your loins;
12 And I will give thee the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, and shall thy seed after thee will I give the land.
13 And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him.
14 And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, a pillar of stone; and he poured a libation and poured oil on it.
15 And Jacob called the name of the place where God had spoken with him, Bethel.
