Joshua defeats seven more kings
28 And it came to pass in that day, that Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and destroyed their king, and them, and all the soul that was therein; nothing was left but did the king of Makkedah as he did the king of Jericho.
29 And Joshua and all Israel with him went from Makkedah to Libnah, and fought against Libnah.
30 And the Lord gave it into the hand of Israel to her and to her king, and smote it with the edge of the sword, to her and to every soul that was in her; He left nothing for the rest of his life. He did to his king as he had done to the king of Jericho.
31 And Joshua and all Israel with him went from Libnah to Lachish: and besieged it, and fought against it;
32 And the Lord gave Lachish into the hand of Israel, and took it on the morrow, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and upon it, and upon every soul that was therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.
33 Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish: but Joshua smote him and his people, until none left him.
34 And Joshua and all Israel with him went from Lachish to Eglon: and they besieged it, and fought against it;
35 And they took it on the same day, and smote it with the edge of the sword; and every soul that was therein utterly destroyed in the same day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.
36 And Joshua and all Israel with him went up from Eglon to Hebron, and fought with her;
37 And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and their king, and all their cities, and every soul that was in them; She left no one alive, according to all that she had done to Eglon: and utterly destroyed her, and all the soul that was in her.
38 And Joshua and all Israel with him went again to Debir, and fought with her;
39 And he took it with his king, and all his cities, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and all the soul that they had utterly destroyed in them; He left nothing else: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and his king, and as he had done to Libnah and his king.
40 And Joshua smote all the land, and the mountains, and the south, and the plains, and the waters, and all their kings; nothing left: but all that had breath destroyed it, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded.
41 And Joshua smote them from Kadesh Barnea, even unto Gaza: and all the country of Goshen, even unto Gibeon.
42 And Joshua took all these kings at once, and their lands: for the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
43 Then Joshua and all Israel with him became the camp at Gilgal.
