An angel appears to Joshua
13 And it came to pass, as Joshua stood at Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes, and looked; And, behold, a man stood before him, and a bare sword was in his hand. And Joshua came unto him, and said unto him, Art thou of ours, or of our enemies?
14 And he said, No, but I come now as prince of the army of the LORD. And Joshua fell upon his face in the earth, and worshiped him, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?
15 And the prince of the LORD's army said unto Joshua, Take off the shoes of thy feet, because the place where thou art standing is holy. And so did Joshua.
