Os sofrimentos de Davi prefiguram os do Messias

 

1 Livra-me, ó Deus, pois as águas entraram até à minha alma.

2 Atolei-me em profundo lamaçal, onde se não pode estar em pé; entrei na profundeza das águas, onde a corrente me leva.

3 Estou cansado de clamar; secou-se-me a garganta: os meus olhos desfalecem esperando o meu Deus.

4 Aqueles que me aborrecem sem causa são mais do que os cabelos da minha cabeça; aqueles que procuram destruir-me sendo injustamente meus inimigos, são poderosos; então restituí o que não furtei.

5 Tu, ó Deus, bem conheces a minha insipiência; e os meus pecados não te são encobertos.

6 Não sejam envergonhados por minha causa aqueles que esperam em ti, Ó Senhor, Senhor dos Exércitos: não sejam confundidos por minha causa aqueles que te buscam, ó Deus de Israel.

7 Porque por amor de ti tenho suportado afrontas; a confusão cobriu o meu rosto.

8 Tenho-me tornado como um estranho para com os meus irmãos, e um desconhecido para com os filhos de minha mãe.

9 Pois o zelo da tua casa me devorou, e as afrontas dos que te afrontam caíram sobre mim.

10 Chorei, e castiguei com jejum a minha alma, mas até isto se me tornou em afrontas.

11 Pus, por vestido um saco, e me fiz um provérbio para eles.

12 Aqueles que se assentam à porta falam contra mim; sou a canção dos bebedores de bebida forte.

13 Eu porém faço a minha oração a ti, Senhor, num tempo aceitável: ó Deus, ouve-me segundo a grandeza da tua misericórdia, segundo a verdade da tua salvação.

14 Tira-me do lamaçal, e não me deixes atolar; seja eu livre dos que me aborrecem, e das profundezas das águas.

15 Não me leve a corrente das águas e não me sorva o abismo, nem o poço cerre a sua boca sobre mim.

16 Ouve-me, Senhor, pois boa é a tua misericórdia: olha para mim segundo a tua muitíssima piedade.

17 E não escondas o teu rosto do teu servo, porque estou angustiado: ouve-me depressa.

18 Aproxima-te da minha alma, e resgata-a. livra-me por causa dos meus inimigos.

19 Bem conheces a minha afronta, e a minha vergonha, e aminha confusão; diante de ti estão todos os meus adversários.

20 Afrontas me quebrantaram o coração, e estou fraquíssimo: esperei por alguém que tivesse compaixão, mas não houve nenhum; e por consoladores, mas não os achei.

21 Deram-me fel por mantimento, e na minha sede me deram de beber vinagre.

22 Torne-se a sua mesa diante deles em laço e, para sua inteira recompensa, em ruína.

23 Escureçam-se-lhes os olhos, para que não vejam, e faze com que os seus lombos tremam constantemente.

24 Derrama sobre eles a tua indignação, e prenda-os o ardor da tua ira.

25 Fique desolado o seu palácio; e não haja quem habite nas suas tendas.

26 Pois perseguem a quem afligiste, e conversam sobre a dor daqueles a quem feriste.

27 Acrescenta iniqüidade à iniqüidade deles, e não entrem na tua justiça.

28 Sejam riscados do livro da vida, e não sejam inscritos com os justos.

29 Eu porém estou aflito, e triste: ponha-me a tua salvação, ó Deus, num alto retiro.

30 Louvarei o nome de Deus com cântico, e engrandece-lo-ei com ação de graças.

31 Isto será mais agradável ao Senhor do que o boi e bezerro que tem pontas e unhas.

32 Os mansos verão isto, e se agradarão; o vosso coração viverá, pois que buscais a Deus.

33 Porque o Senhor ouve os necessitados, e não despreza os seus cativos.

34 Louvem-no os céus e a terra, os mares e tudo quanto neles se move.

35 Porque Deus salvará a Sião, e edificará mas cidades de Judá, para que habitem ali e a possuam.

36 E herdá-la-á a semente de seus servos, e os que amam o seu nome habitarão nela.

3 परन्तु धर्मी लोग परमेश्वर के सामने आनन्दित और मगन हों, और आनन्द से मगन हों।

4 परमेश्वर का गीत गाओ, उसके नाम की स्तुति गाओ; जो आकाश पर सवार है, उसकी स्तुति करो, क्योंकि उसका नाम यहोवा है; उसके सामने आनन्दित हो।

9 हे परमेश्वर, तूने बहुत वर्षा की; तूने अपनी निज भूमि को तब ताज़ा किया जब वह थकी हुई थी।

10 तेरे झुंड वहाँ रहते थे; हे परमेश्वर, तूने अपनी दृढ़ करुणा से गरीबों का भरण-पोषण किया।

11 यहोवा ने वचन दिया; शुभ समाचार लाने वालों की सेना बड़ी थी।

12 सेनाओं के राजा जल्दी से भाग गए; और जो घर में रह गई उसने लूट का माल बाँट लिया।

13 चाहे तू भेड़शालाओं में लेट जाए, तौभी तू चाँदी से मढ़ी हुई कबूतरी के समान होगी, जिसके पंख पीले सोने के होंगे।

14 जब सर्वशक्तिमान ने वहाँ राजाओं को तितर-बितर किया, तो ऐसा लगा जैसे सामन पर बर्फ गिरती है।

15 परमेश्वर का पर्वत बाशान पर्वत के समान है, बाशान पर्वत के समान ऊँचा पर्वत। 

16 हे ऊँचे पर्वत, तू क्यों उछलता है? यह वही पर्वत है जिसे परमेश्वर ने अपने निवास के लिये चाहा था, और यहोवा वहाँ सदा वास करेगा।

 17 परमेश्वर के रथ बीस हजार हैं, हजारों-हजारों। यहोवा उनके बीच में है, जैसे पवित्र स्थान में सीनै। 

18 तू ऊँचे पर चढ़ा, तू बन्दियों को बन्दी बनाकर ले गया, तू ने मनुष्यों के लिये, यहाँ तक कि बलवाइयों के लिये भी भेंट ली, कि यहोवा परमेश्वर उनके बीच वास करे।

 19 धन्य है यहोवा, जो प्रतिदिन हमारे लिये उपकार करता है, वह हमारा उद्धार करनेवाला परमेश्वर है। 

20 हमारा परमेश्वर उद्धार करनेवाला परमेश्वर है; और यहोवा, यहोवा, मृत्यु से बचने का अधिकारी है। 

21 परन्तु परमेश्वर अपने शत्रुओं के सिर पर, और जो अपने अधर्म में चलता है, उसके रोएँदार सिर पर कठोर प्रहार करेगा।

 22 यहोवा ने कहा, मैं उन्हें बाशान से लौटा ले आऊँगा; मैं अपनी प्रजा को समुद्र की गहराइयों से लौटा ले आऊँगा; 

23 ताकि तेरा पाँव तेरे शत्रुओं के लोहू में डूबा रहे, और तेरे कुत्तों की जीभ उसमें डूबी रहे।

30 नरकटों के पशुओं को, बैलों की भीड़ को, और देश-देश के बछड़ों को डाँटो, जो अपने चाँदी के सिक्कों को पैरों तले रौंदते हैं; युद्ध की इच्छा रखनेवाले लोगों को तितर-बितर कर दो।

31 मिस्र से शाही दूत आएँगे; कूश शीघ्र ही परमेश्वर की ओर हाथ बढ़ाएगा। 

32 हे पृथ्वी के राज्य राज्य के लोगो, परमेश्वर का गीत गाओ, यहोवा का भजन गाओ! 

33 वह जो प्राचीनकाल से स्वर्ग के सबसे ऊंचे स्थान पर सवार होकर आता है, देखो, वह अपनी वाणी सुनाता है, वह ऊंचे शब्द से पुकारता है। 

34 परमेश्वर को बल दो; उसका प्रताप इस्राएल के ऊपर है, उसकी शक्ति बादलों में है।

14 जो मेरे होठों ने कही हैं, और मेरे मुंह ने संकट के समय कही हैं। 

15 मैं तेरे लिये मोटे पशुओं की होमबलि चढ़ाऊंगा, और मेढ़ों का मीठा धुआँ चढ़ाऊंगा; मैं बकरों के संग बैल चढ़ाऊंगा। 

16 हे परमेश्वर से डरनेवालों, आकर सुनो, और मैं बताऊंगा कि उसने मेरे प्राण के लिये क्या क्या किया है।  

17 मैं ने अपने मुंह से उसको पुकारा, और वह मेरी जीभ से बड़ा हुआ। 

18 यदि मैं अपने मन में अधर्म की बात सोचूं, तो यहोवा मेरी न सुनेगा; 

19 परन्तु परमेश्वर ने निश्चय मेरी सुन ली है; उसने मेरी प्रार्थना की ओर ध्यान दिया है।

1 Praise God with a shout of joy, all the earth.

2 Sing to the glory of his name; give glory to his praise.

3 Say to God, "How awesome are you in your works! Because of the greatness of your power, your enemies will submit to you.

4 All the earth will worship you and sing praise to you; they will sing to your name.

5 Come and see the works of God; he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of men.

6 He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot; there we rejoiced in him.

7 He rules forever by his power; his eyes are on the nations; let not the rebellious be exalted.

8 Bless our God, O peoples, and make the voice of his praise heard.

9 He who upholds our souls with life, and will not let our feet slip.

10 For you, O God, have tested us; you have refined us as silver is refined.

1 Louvai a Deus com brados de júbilo, todas as terras.

2 Cantai a glória do seu nome; dai glória ao seu louvor.

3 Dizei a Deus: Quão terrível és tu nas tuas obras! Pela grandeza do teu poder se submeterão a ti os teus inimigos.

4 Toda a terra te adorará e te cantará louvores: eles cantarão o teu nome.

5 Vinde, e vede as obras de Deus; é terrível nos seus feitos para com os filhos dos homens.

6 Converteu o mar em terra seca; passaram o rio a pé; ali nos alegramos nele.

7 Ele domina eternamente pelo seu poder: os seus olhos estão sobre as nações; não se exaltem os rebeldes.

8 Bendizei, povos, ao nosso Deus, e fazei ouvir a voz do seu louvor.

9 तू धरती की देखभाल करता है और उसे सींचता है; तू उसे परमेश्वर की नदी से भरपूर करता है, जो जल से भरपूर है; तू उसे तैयार करके अनाज देता है।

10 तू उसकी नालियों को सींचता है, और उसकी ऊँचाई को नियंत्रित करता है; तू उसे भरपूर वर्षा से नरम करता है; तू उसकी वृद्धि को आशीर्वाद देता है।

1 Praise waits for you, O God, in Zion; to you the vow will be fulfilled.

2 O you who hear prayer, all flesh will come to you.

3 Iniquities prevail against me; but you forgive our transgressions.

4 Blessed is the one you choose, and bring near to you, to dwell in your courts; we will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.

5 You will answer us with awesome justice, O God of our salvation; you are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of those who are far away on the sea;

6 Who by his strength establishes the mountains, who girds them with strength;

7 Who stills the roaring of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

 8 Those who dwell in the ends of the earth fear your signs; you make the outgoings of the morning and the evening joyful.

2 दुष्टों की गुप्त युक्ति से, और अधर्म करनेवालों के कोलाहल से मुझे छिपा ले।

3 जिन्होंने अपनी जीभ को तलवारों के समान तीखा किया है, और अपने तीरों को कड़वी बातों के साथ ढाला है,

4 वे गुप्त स्थानों से सीधे लोगों पर तीर चलाते हैं; वे उस पर अचानक तीर चलाते हैं, और डरते नहीं।

5 वे दुष्ट युक्तियों में दृढ़ रहते हैं; वे गुप्त में जाल बिछाने की बात करते हैं, और कहते हैं, "उन्हें कौन देखेगा?"

1 Hear, O God, my voice in my prayer; deliver my life from the terror of the enemy.

2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the tumult of the workers of iniquity.

3 Who have sharpened their tongues like swords, and bent their arrows with bitter words,

4 To shoot from secret places at the upright; they shoot at him suddenly, and are not afraid.

5 They stand firm in evil devices; they speak of laying a trap in secret, and say, "Who will see them?"

6 They commit malicious wrath, they search out everything that can be searched out, even the inward parts of a man, and the inmost heart.

7 But God will shoot an arrow at them, and suddenly they will be wounded.

8 So they will turn their tongues against themselves; All who see them will flee.

9 And all men will fear, and will declare the work of God, and will consider his acts prudently.

4 Para de lugares ocultos atirarem sobre o que é reto; disparam sobre ele repentinamente, e não temem.

5 Firmam-se em mau intento; falam de armar laços secretamente, e dizem: Quem os verá?

6 Fazem indignação maliciosas, inquirem tudo o que se pode inquirir; até o íntimo de cada um, e o profundo coração.

7 Mas Deus disparará sobre eles uma seta, e de repente ficarão feridos.

8 Assim eles farão com que as suas línguas se voltem contra si mesmos; todos aqueles que os virem, fugirão.

1 O God, you are my God; early will I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry and weary land, where there is no water;

2 That I may see your strength and your glory, as I have seen you in the sanctuary.

3 For your lovingkindness is better than life; my lips shall praise you.

4 So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips.

6 When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.

7 Because you have been my help; I will sing joyfully in the shadow of your wings.

8 My soul follows closely behind you; your right hand upholds me. 

9 But those who seek my life to destroy it will go to the lower parts of the earth.

10 They will fall by the sword and will be food for foxes.

2 वही मेरी चट्टान और मेरा उद्धार है; वही मेरी रक्षा है; मैं बहुत विचलित नहीं होऊँगा।

3 तुम कब तक मनुष्य के विरुद्ध बुरी योजना बनाते रहोगे? तुम सब मारे जाओगे; तुम झुकी हुई दीवार और ढीली बाड़ के समान होगे।

4 वे केवल यह विचार करते रहते हैं कि उसे उसकी श्रेष्ठता से कैसे हटाया जाए; वे झूठ से प्रसन्न होते हैं; वे अपने मुँह से आशीर्वाद देते हैं, परन्तु अपने मन में शाप देते हैं।

5 हे मेरे प्राण, केवल परमेश्वर पर ही भरोसा रख, क्योंकि मेरी आशा उसी से होती है।

6 वही मेरी चट्टान और मेरा उद्धार है; वही मेरी रक्षा है; मैं विचलित नहीं होऊँगा।
