The Death of Solomon
41 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.
43 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

God Stirs Up Adversaries Against Solomon
14 Now the Lord raised up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Idumean, who was of the seed of the king of Edom.
15 Now it came to pass, when David was in Edom, that Joab the captain of the host went up to bury the slain, that he smote every male in Edom.
16 (For Joab dwelt there six months with all Israel, until he had destroyed every male in Edom.)
17 But Hadad fled, he and some of his father's servants, the Idumeans, with him, to go to Egypt; but Hadad was a young man.
18 And they arose from Midian, and came to Paran, and took men with them from Paran, and came to Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he gave him a house, and promised him food, and gave him land.
19 And Hadad found great favor in the sight of Pharaoh, and he gave him his wife's sister, the sister of Tacpenes the queen.
20 And the sister of Tacpenes bore him her son Genubath, whom Tacpenes brought up in Pharaoh's house: and Genubath was in Pharaoh's house among the sons of Pharaoh.
21 And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David had slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, Send me away, that I may go to my land.
22 And Pharaoh said to him, What want have you with me, that lo, you seek to go to your own land? And he said, No; but send me away nevertheless.
23 And God raised up another adversary for him, Rezon the son of Eliada, who had fled from his master Hadadezer king of Zobah.
24 He gathered men against him and was captain of a band of men, when David slew them. They went to Damascus and lived there and reigned in Damascus.
25 He was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, besides the evil that Hadad did, for he hated Israel and reigned over Syria.
26 Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite from Zeredah, Solomon's servant (whose mother's name was Zeruah), was a widow.
27 And this was the reason why he raised his hand against the king: Solomon had built Millo and had closed up the gates of the city of David his father.
28 Now Jeroboam was a mighty man of valor. and Solomon saw the young man that he was industrious, and he put him in charge of all the house of Joseph.
29 At that time, when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him on the road, and he had put on a new garment, and the two of them were alone in the field.
30 Then Ahijah took hold of the new garment that was on him and tore it into twelve pieces.
31 And he said to Jeroboam, “Take the ten pieces for yourself, for thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon and give the ten tribes to you.
32 But he will have one tribe for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.
33 Because they have forsaken me and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the Ammonites, and have not walked in my ways to do what is right in my eyes, even my statutes and my ordinances, as David their father did.
34 However, I will not take anything of the kingdom out of his hand, but I will make him prince all the days of his life for the sake of David my servant, whom I chose, who kept my commandments and my statutes.
35 But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand and give it to you, its ten tribes.
36 And I will give one tribe to his son, so that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city I chose to put my name there.
37 And I will take you, and you shall reign over all that your soul desires; and you shall be king over Israel.
38 And it shall come to pass, if you will hearken to all that I command you, and walk in my ways, and do that which is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as my servant David did, that I will be with you, and will build you a sure house, as I built David, and will give Israel to you.
39 And I will afflict the seed of David therefore, yet not for ever.
40 Therefore Solomon sought to kill Jeroboam: but Jeroboam arose, and fled to Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt: and he was in Egypt until Solomon died.

14 Levantou pois o Senhor a Salomão um adversário, a Hadade, o idumeu: ele era da semente do rei de Edom.

17 Hadade, porém fugiu, ele e alguns homens idumeus, dos servos de seu pai, com ele, para ir ao Egito: era porém Hadade um rapaz pequeno.
18 E levantaram-se de Midiã e vieram a Parã, e tomaram consigo homens de Parã, e vieram ao Egito a Faraó, rei do Egito, o qual lhe deu uma casa, e lhe prometeu sustento, e lhe deu uma terra.
19 E achou Hadade grande graça aos olhos de Faraó: de maneira que lhe deu por mulher, a irmã de sua mulher a irmã de Tacpenes, a rainha.
20 E a irmã de Tacpenes lhe deu seu filho Genubate, o qual Tacpenes criou na casa de Faraó: e Genubate estava na casa de Faraó, entre os filhos de Faraó.
21 Ouvindo, pois, Hadade no Egito que Davi adormecera com seus pais, e que Joabe, chefe dos exércitos, era morto, disse Hadade a Faraó: Despede-me, para que vá a minha terra.
22 Porém Faraó lhe disse: Pois que te falta comigo, que eis que procuras partir para a tua terra?E disse ele: Nada, mas todavia despede-me.
23 Também Deus lhe levantou outro adversário, a Rezom, filho de Eliada, que tinha fugido de seu senhor Hadadezer, rei de Zobá,
24 Contra quem também ajuntou homens, e foi capitão de um esquadrão, quando Davi os matou: e indo-se para Damasco, habitaram ali, e reinaram em Damasco.
25 E foi adversário de Israel por todos os dias de Salomão, e isto além do mal que Hadade fazia: porque detestava a Israel, e reinava sobre a Síria.
26 Até Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, efrateu de Zereda, servo de Salomão ( cuja mãe era mulher viúva, por nome Zerua), também levantou a mão contra o rei.
27 E esta foi a causa, porque levantou a mão contra o rei: Salomão tinha edificado a Milo, e cerrou as aberturas da cidade de Davi, seu pai.
28 E o homem Jeroboão era varão valente; e vendo Salomão a este mancebo, que era laborioso, ele o pôs sobre todo o cargo da casa de José.
29 Sucedeu pois naquele tempo que saindo Jeroboão de Jerusalém, o encontrou o profeta Aías, o silonita, no caminho, e ele se tinha vestido de um vestido novo, e sós estavam os dois no campo.
30 E Aías pegou no vestido novo que sobre si tinha, e o rasgou em doze pedaços.
31 E disse a Jeroboão: Toma para ti os dez pedaços, porque assim diz o Senhor Deus de Israel: Eis que rasgarei o reino da mão de Salomão, e a ti darei as dez tribos.
32 Porém ele terá uma tribo, por amor a Davi, meu servo, e por amor de Jerusalém, a cidade que elegi de todas as tribos de Israel.
33 Porque me deixaram, e se encurvaram a Astarote, deusa dos sidônios, e a Camós, deus dos moabitas, e a Milcom, deus dos filhos de Amom; e não andaram pelos meus caminhos, para fazerem o que parece reto aos meus olhos, a saber, os meus estatutos e os meus juízos, como Davi, seu pai.
34 Porém não tomarei nada deste reino da sua mão: mas por príncipe o ponho por todos os dias da sua vida, por amor a Davi, meu servo, a quem elegi, o qual guardou os meus mandamentos e os meus estatutos.
35 Mas da mão de seu filho tomarei o reino, e to darei a ti, as dez tribos dele.

37 E te tomarei, e reinarás sobre tudo o que desejar a tua alma; e serás rei sobre Israel.
38 E há de ser que, se ouvires tudo o que eu te mandar, e andares pelos meus caminhos, e fizers o que é reto aos meus olhos, guardando os meus estatutos e os meus mandamentos, como fez Davi, meu servo, eu serei contigo, e te edificarei uma casa firme, como edifiquei a Davi e te darei Israel.
39 E por isso afligirei a semente de Davi; todavia não para sempre.
40 Pelo que Salomão procurou matar Jeroboão; porém Jeroboão se levantou, e fugiu para o Egito, para Sisaque, rei do Egito: e esteve no Egito até que Salomão morreu.

Solomon's Idolatry and God's Wrath Against Him
1 King Solomon loved many foreign women, besides Pharaoh's daughter, Moabites, Ammonites, Edumeans, Sidonians and Hittites.
2 From the nations where the Lord had said to the Israelites, "You shall not go in to them, and they shall not go in to you; otherwise they will turn your hearts after their gods." Solomon loved them.
3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned his heart away.
4 When Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, like the heart of David his father.
5 For Solomon followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians and followed Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
6 So Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD; he did not fully follow the LORD, as David his father had done.
7 Then Solomon built a high place for Hamos, the abomination of Moab, on the mountain that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites.
8 And he did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
9 Therefore the LORD was angry with Solomon, because he had turned his heart away from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.
10 And concerning this matter he had commanded him that he should not follow other gods: but he did not keep that which the LORD commanded him.
11 And the LORD said unto Solomon, Because this thing hath been done unto thee, and hast not kept my covenant and my statutes which I have commanded thee, I will surely tear the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
12 Yet in thy days I will not do it, for the sake of David thy father: I will tear it out of the hand of thy son.
13 But I will not tear the whole kingdom: I will give one tribe to thy son, for the sake of my servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen.

A idolatria de Salomão e a ira de Deus contra ele
1 O rei Salomão amou muitas mulheres estranhas, e isso além da filha de Faraó, moabitas, amonitas, eduméias, sidônias e hetéias.
2 Das nações em que o Senhor tinha dito aos filhos de Israel: Não entrareis a elas, e elas não entrarão a vós; doutra maneira perverterão o vosso coração para seguirdes os seus deuses. A estas se uniu Salomão com amor.
3 E tinha setecentas mulheres, princesas, e trezentas concubinas: e suas mulheres lhe perverteram o coração.
4 Porque sucedeu que, no tempo da velhice de Salomão, suas mulheres lhe perverteram o seu coração para seguir outros deuses: e o seu coração não era perfeito para com o Senhor seu Deus, como o coração de Davi, seu pai,
5 Porque Salomão, andou em seguimento de Astarote, deusa dos sidônios, e em seguimento de Milcom, a abominação dos amonitas.
6 Assim fez Salomão o que parecia mal aos olhos do Senhor; e não perseverou em seguir ao Senhor, como Davi seu pai.
7 Então edificou Salomão um alto a Camós, a abominação dos moabitas, sobre o monte que está diante de Jerusalém, e a Moloque, a abominação dos filhos de Amom.
8 E assim fez para com todas as suas mulheres estranhas; as quais queimavam incenso e sacrificavam a seus deuses.
9 Pelo que o Senhor se indignou contra Salomão: porquanto desviara o seu coração do Senhor Deus de Israel, o qual duas vezes lhe aparecera.
10 E acerca desta matéria lhe tinha dado ordem que não andasse em seguimento de outros deuses: porém não guardou o que o Senhor lhe ordenara.
11 Pelo que disse o Senhor a Salomão: Pois que houve isto em ti, que não guardaste o meu concerto e os meus estatutos que te mandei, certamente rasgarei de ti este reino, e o darei a teu servo.
12 Todavia nos teus dias não o farei, por amor de Davi teu pai: da mão de teu filho o rasgarei:
13 Porém todo o reino não rasgarei: uma tribo darei a teu filho, por amor de meu servo Davi, e por amor de Jerusalém, que tenho elegido.

18 और राजा ने हाथीदांत का एक बड़ा सिंहासन बनवाया, और उसे अत्यन्त चोखे सोने से मढ़ा।
19 इस सिंहासन में छः सीढ़ियां थीं, और सिंहासन का सिर पीछे की ओर गोल था, और उसके दोनों ओर आसन तक पीछे की ओर था: और पीछे की ओर दो सिंह बने हुए थे।

23 सो राजा सुलैमान धन और बुद्धि में पृय्वी भर के सब राजाओं से बढ़कर हुआ।

Solomon's Wealth
14- And the weight of the gold that was brought to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold;
15- Besides the merchants, and the hire of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the land.
16- And King Solomon made two hundred bucklers of beaten gold; six hundred shekels of gold he weighed for each buckler;
17- And three hundred shields of beaten gold he weighed for each shield; and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
18- And the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.
19- And the throne had six steps, and the head of the throne was round behind, and had a backrest on both sides up to the seat: and two lions stood by the backrests.
20 There were twelve lions on the six steps on either side; nothing like it had ever been done in any of the kingdoms.
21 All King Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; there was no silver in them, for it was not valued in the days of Solomon.
22 For the king had the navies of Tarshish at sea with the navies of Hiram; and the navies of Tarshish returned once in three years, bringing gold and silver, ivory, apes and peacocks.
23 So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
24 And all the earth sought the face of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
25 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and apparel, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, and so forth, year by year.
26 And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen, so that he had one thousand four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen: and he brought them into the chariot cities; and others remained with the king in Jerusalem.
27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as great as stones, and cedars as plentiful as the sycamore trees that are in the plain.
28 And they brought horses out of Egypt for Solomon: and the king's merchants took them by droves, a herd for a certain price.
29 And a chariot went up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty: and so they brought them out by their means for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria.

18- Fez mais o rei um grande trono de marfim, e o cobriu de ouro puríssimo.
19 Tinha este trono seis degraus, e era a cabeça do trono por detrás redonda, e de ambas as bandas tinha encosto até o assento: e dois leões estavam junto aos encostos.
20 Também doze leões estavam ali sobre os seis degraus de ambas as bandas; nunca se tinha feito obra semelhante em nenhum dos reinos.
21 Também todos os vasos de beber do rei Salomão eram de ouro, e todos os vasos da casa do bosque do Líbano eram de ouro puro: não havia neles prata, porque nos dias de Salomão não tinha estimação alguma.
22 Porque o rei tinha no mar as naus de Tarsis, com as naus de Hirão: uma vez em três anos tornavam as naus de Tarsis, e traziam ouro e prata, marfim, e bugios, e pavões.
23 Assim o rei Salomão excedeu a todos os reis da terra, tanto em riquezas como em sabedoria.

The Queen of Sheba Comes to Visit Solomon
1-Now when the queen of Sheba heard of Solomon's fame concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with riddles.
2-And she came to Jerusalem with a very great army, with camels laden with spices, and very much gold, and precious stones; and she came to Solomon, and told him all that was in her heart.
3-And Solomon told her all his words: there was nothing hidden from the king, that he did not tell him.
4-And when the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
5-And the food on his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the arrangement of his attendants, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more breath in her.
6-And she said to the king, The report that I heard in my land of your works and your wisdom was true.
7-But I did not believe those words until I came and my eyes saw it; behold, they did not say half of it; you have surpassed in wisdom and wealth the fame that I heard.
8-Blessed are your men, and blessed are these your servants who stand continually before you, who hear your wisdom!
9-Blessed be the Lord your God, who delighted in you, to set you on the throne of Israel; because the Lord loved Israel forever, therefore he made you king, to do justice and righteousness.
10-And she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, and very many spices and precious stones; never had spices come in such abundance as that which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.
11-Also the navies of Hiram, which brought gold from Ophir, brought from Ophir very much almug wood and precious stones. 12- And from this almug wood the king made pillars for the house of the Lord, and for the king's house, and harps and psalteries for singers. There was no such almug wood, nor has it been seen to this day.
13 And King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all that she desired, besides what he gave her according to the abundance of King Solomon. Then she returned and went to her own land, she and her servants.

5-E a comida de sua mesa, e o assentar de seus servos, e o estar de seus criados, e os vestidos deles, e os seus copeiros, e a sua subida, pela qual subia à casa do Senhor, não houve mais espírito nela.
6-E disse ao rei: Foi verdade a palavra que ouvi na minha terra, das tuas coisas e da tua sabedoria.
7-E eu não cria naquelas palavras, até que vim, e os meus olhos o viram; eis que não disseram metade; sobrepujaste em sabedoria e bens a fama que ouvi.
8-Bem-aventurados os teus homens, bem-aventurados estes teus servos que estão sempre diante de ti, que ouvem a tua sabedoria!
9-Bendito seja o Senhor teu Deus, que teve agrado de ti,para te pôr no trono de Israel: porque o Senhor ama a Israel para sempre, por isso te estabeleceu rei, para fazeres juízo e justiça.
10- E deu ao rei cento e vinte talentos de ouro, e muitíssimas especiarias e pedras preciosas: nunca veio especiaria em tanta abundância, como a que a rainha de Sabá deu ao rei Salomão.
11- Também as naus de Hirão, que de Ofir levavam ouro, traziam de Ofir muitíssima madeira de almugue, e pedras preciosas.
12- E desta madeira de almugue fez o rei balaústres para a casa do Senhor, e para a casa do rei, como também harpas e alaúdes para os cantores: nunca veio tal madeira de almugue, nem se viu até o dia de hoje.
13 E o rei Salomão de à rainha de Sabá tudo quanto lhe pediu o seu desejo, além do que lhe deu, segundo a largueza do rei Salomão: então voltou e partiu para a sua terra, ela e seus servos.

The Tax That Solomon Imposed
15- And this is the cause of the tax that king Solomon imposed, to build the house of the Lord, and his house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
16- For Pharaoh king of Egypt went up and took Gezer, and burned it with fire, and slew the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and gave it as a dowry to his daughter, Solomon's wife.
17- So Solomon built Gezer, and Beth-horon the lower,
18- And Baalath, and Tadmor, in the wilderness of that land,
19- And all the cities of store that Solomon had, and the cities for chariots, and the cities for horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
20- As for all the people who were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who were not of the children of Israel, 21- Their children who remained after them in the land, whom the children of Israel could not utterly destroy, Solomon reduced to servitude to this day. 22- However, Solomon did not make any of the children of Israel slaves; only they were men of war, and their servants, and their princes, and their captains, and commanders of the chariots and horsemen. 23- These were the chief officers who were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, who gave orders to the people who worked on the work. 24- But Pharaoh's daughter went up from the city of David to the house that Solomon had built for her; and she built Millo. 25- And Solomon offered burnt offerings and peace offerings three times a year on the altar which they had built unto the LORD, and burned incense upon that which was before the LORD: and so he finished the house. 26- And King Solomon made ships at Ezion-geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Sea of Suph, in the land of Edom. 27- And Hiram sent in the ships his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon. 28- And they came to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and twenty talents of gold, and brought it to King Solomon.

21- A seus filhos, que restaram depois deles na
terra, os quais os filhos de Israel não puderam destruir totalmente, Salomão os
reduziu a tributos servil, até hoje.
22- Porém os filhos de Israel não fez Salomão escravo
algum: porém eram homens de guerra, e seus criados, e seus príncipes, e seus
capitães e chefes dos deus carros e dos seus cavaleiros.
23- Estes eram os chefes dos oficiais que estavam
sobre a obra de Salomão, quinhentos e cinquenta, que davam ordens ao povo que
trabalhavam na obra.
24- Subiu porém a filha de Faraó da cidade de Davi à
casa, que Salomão lhe edificara; então edificou a Milo.
25- E oferecia Salomão três vezes cada ano
holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos sobre o altar que edificaram ao Senhor, e
queimava incenso sobre o que estava perante o Senhor: e assim acabou a casa.
26- Também o rei Salomão fez naus em Eziom-Geber, que

The Lord Appears to Solomon a Second Time
1- Now it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord, and the king's house, and had done all that Solomon desired, that he might do,
2- The Lord appeared to Solomon again, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.
3- And the Lord said to him, I have heard your prayer, and your supplication which you have made before me: I have hallowed the house which you have built, to put my name there forever: and my eyes and my heart shall be there always.
4- And if you walk before me, as David your father walked, with all your heart and sincerity, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, 5- Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I spoke concerning David your father, saying, 'You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel. ' 6- But if you or your sons turn away from me at all, and do not keep my commandments and my statutes that I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them, 7- Then I will destroy Israel from the land that I have given them, and I will cast out this house, which I have consecrated for my name, from my presence; and Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples. 8- And because of this house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss and say, "Why has the Lord done this to this land and to this house?" 9- And they will say, "Because they have forsaken the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have bowed down to them and served them; therefore the Lord has brought all this evil on them." 10- And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, that Solomon had built two houses, the house of the Lord and the house of the king. 11- {For this reason Hiram king of Tyre had brought Solomon cedar and fir trees and gold, according to all his desire.} Then King Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities out of the land of Galilee. 12- And Hiram went out of Tyre to see the cities that Solomon had given him, but they did not please him. 13- And he said, What cities are these that thou hast given me, my brother? And they called them the Land of Cabuli, unto this day.
14- And Hiram sent unto the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold.

O Senhor aparece a Salomão pela segunda vez
1- Sucedeu pois que, acabando Salomão de edificar a
casa do Senhor, e a casa do rei, e todo o desejo de Salomão, que lhe veio à
vontade fazer,
2- O senhor tornou a aparecer a Salomão, como lhe
tinha aparecido em Gibeom.
3- E o Senhor lhe disse: Ouvi a tua oração, e a tua
súplica que suplicando fizeste perante mim; santifiquei a casa que edificaste,
a fim de pôr ali o meu nome para sempre: e os meus olhos e o meu coração
estarão ali todos os dias.
4- E se tu andares perante mim como andou Davi teu
pai, com inteireza de coração e com sinceridade, para fazeres segundo tudo o
que te mandei, e guardares os meus estatutos e os meus juízos,
5- Então confirmarei o trono de teu reino sobre
Israel para sempre, como falei acerca de teu pai Davi, dizendo: Não te faltará
varão sobre o trono de Israel.
6- Porém se vós e vossos filhos de qualquer maneira
vos apartardes de mim, e não guardardes os meus mandamentos, e os meus
estatutos, que vos tenho proposto, mas fordes, e servirdes a outros deuses, e
vos curvardes perante eles,
7- Então destruirei a Israel da terra que lhes dei; e
a esta casa, que santifiquei a meu nome, lançarei longe da minha presença: e
Israel será por ditado e mote, entre todos os povos.
8- E desta casa, que é tão exaltada, todo aquele que
por ela passar pasmará e assobiará e dirá: Por que fez o Senhor assim a esta
terra e a esta casa?
9- E dirão: Porque deixaram ao Senhor seu Deus, que
tirou da terra do Egito a seus pais, e se encurvaram perante eles, e os
serviram: por isso trouxe o Senhor sobre eles todo este mal.
10- E sucedeu, ao fim de vinte anos, que Salomão
edificara as duas casas; a casa do Senhor e a casa do rei.
11- { Para o que Hirão, rei de Tiro,trouxera a
Salomão madeira de cedro e de faia, e ouro, segundo todo o seu desejo:} Então
deu o rei Salomão a Hirão vinte cidades da terra de Galiléia.
12- E saiu Hirão de Tiro a ver as cidades que Salomão
lhe dera, porém não foram boas aos seus olhos.
13- Pelo que disse: Que cidades são estas que me
deste, irmão meu? E chamaram-nas: Terra de Cabuli, até hoje.
14- E enviara Hirão ao rei cento e vinte talentos de
ouro.
