Abiathar, one of the priests, escapes and comes to David
20 But one of the sons of Achimelech, son of Ahitub, whose name was Abiathar, escaped after David.
21 And Abiathar announced to David that Saul had killed the priests of the Lord.
22 Then David said to Abiathar, “I knew that day, that while Doeg the idumum was there, he would not fail to announce it to Saul: I gave occasion against all the souls in your father's house.
23 Stay with me, don't be afraid, because whoever seeks my death will also seek yours, for you will be saved with me.
