18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, Retreat, my lord, retreat to me, fear not. He retired to his tent and she covered him with a blanket.
19 Then he said to him, "Give me, I ask you to drink some water, because I am thirsty." Then she opened a skin of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.
20 And he said to him, You stand at the door of the tent; and it will be that if someone comes, and asks you, and says, Is there anyone here? you answer then: No.
21 Then Jael, the wife of Héber, took a stake from the tent, and used a hammer, and went meekly to it and drove the stake into the fountain, and nailed it to the ground, while he was still in a deep sleep. , and already tired; and so he died.
22 And behold, as Barak followed Sisera, Jael went out to meet him, and said to him, Come, and I will show you the man you are looking for. And it came to her, and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the stake in the fountain.
23 So that day God subjected Jabin king of Canaan to the children of Israel.
24 And the hand of the children of Israel continued to fight and harden over Jabin, king of Canaan: until they exterminated Jabin, king of Canaan.
