Judges 03 Eúde deliver them

Judges 03
Eúde deliver them
Then the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, and the Lord raised up a deliverer for them, Ehud, son of Gera, Benjamin, son of Jemini, left-handed man. And the children of Israel sent a gift to Eglon, king of the Moabites, by his hand.
And Ehud made a two-edged sword, the length of a cubit: and girded it under his garments, to his right thigh.
And he brought that gift to Eglon, king of the Moabites; and Eglom was a very fat man.
And it came to pass that, having just delivered the gift, he dismissed the people who had brought the gift.
But he returned from the images of sculptures at the foot of Gilgal, and said, I have a secret word for you, O king. Who said: Shut up. And all who attended him went out before him.
And Ehud entered a cool upper room, which the king had for himself, where he sat, and Ehud said, I have a word from God for you. And got up from the chair.
Then Ehud stretched out his left hand, and took the sword from his right thigh, and stuck it in his belly.
In such a way that it entered until the hilt after the leaf, and the fat enclosed the leaf (because it did not take the sword from the womb): and the excrement came out.
Then Ehud went out into the room, and closed the upper room doors on him, and closed them.
And when he went out, his servants came and saw, and, behold, the doors of the upper room were closed; and they said, No doubt you are covering your feet in the chamber of the cool upper room.
And waiting until they were bored, behold, the doors of the upper room did not open: so they took the key, and opened it, and, behold, their lord lying dead on the ground.
And Ehud escaped while they lingered; because he passed through the sculpture images, and escaped to Seirate.
And it came to pass, when he came in, that he blew the horn in the mountains of Ephraim: and the children of Israel went down with him from the mountains, and he before them,
And he said to them, Follow me: for the Lord has given you to your enemies, the Moabites, in your hand;
And at that time about ten thousand men were wounded by the Moabites, all of them stout, and all of them valiant men: and none escaped.
So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel: and the land was quiet for eighty years.
After him was Sagar, son of Anath, who smote six hundred Philistine men with a goad of oxen: and he also delivered Israel.
