Otniel frees them
9 And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, and the Lord raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, and delivered them: to Otniel, the son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, younger than he.
10 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and judged Israel, and went out to battle; and the Lord gave Cushan-Risataim king of Syria into his hand, and his hand prevailed against Cusan-Risataim.
11 Then the land was still for forty years: and Otniel, the son of Kenaz, died.
