Judges 04 Deborah and Barak free us

Judges 04
Deborah and Barak free us
And Deborah, a prophetic woman, a woman from Lapidote, judged Israel at that time.
And he lived under Deborah's palms, between Ramah and Bethel, in the mountains of Ephraim; and the children of Israel went up to her in judgment.
And he sent, and called Barak the son of Abinoam of Chedes of Naphtali, and said to him, Perhaps the Lord God of Israel did not command, saying, Go, and draw people to Mount Tabor, and take ten thousand men of you with you. sons of Naphtali and the sons of Zebulun?
And I will draw Sisera, the captain of the army of Jabin, with his chariots and his multitude to the stream of Kishon, and I will give him into your hand.
Then Barak said to him, "If you go with me, I will go.
And she said, I will certainly go with you, but honor will not be yours in the way you lead; for at the hand of a woman the Lord will sell Sisera. And Deborah got up, and left with Barak for Quedes.
Then Barak summoned Zebulun and Naphtali at Quedes, and went up with ten thousand men after him: and Deborah went up with him.
And Héber, a Kenyan, had departed from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab, Moses' father-in-law: and had spread out their tents to the oak tree of Saananim, which is by Kedes.
And they announced to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor.
And Sisera summoned all his chariots, nine hundred chariots, and all the people who were with him, from Haroseth of the Gentiles to the stream of Kishon.
Then Deborah said to Barak, Arise: for this is the day when the Lord has given Sisera into your hand: Has the Lord not come out before you? Barak therefore came down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
And the Lord defeated Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his army by the sword, before Barak: and Sisera got out of the chariot, and fled on foot.
And Barak followed them after the chariots, and after the army, until Haroset of the Gentiles, and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword, until there was not one.
But Sisera fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Héber, a Kenyan: because there was peace between Jabin, king of Hazor, and the house of Héber, a Kenyan.
